About Fountain Hills Concrete On October 1, 1999, Fountain Hills Concrete was purchased by Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and has been operated by Fort McDowell Sand & Gravel. On April 22, 2003, Fountain Hills Concrete and Fort McDowell Sand & Gravel became Fort McDowell Yavapai Materials.
Plant Location Just east of the Verde River Bridge off Highway 87 (Beeline).
Fort McDowell Yavapai Materials Objective To promote the economic development of the Tribe and its Members, through efficient utilization of the Tribal resources; to earn a net profit; to provide business training for Members of the Tribe and Tribal Council, to economically and efficiently manufacture sand, gravel and concrete products at a profit while providing employment opportunities for Members of the Tribe.
Fort McDowell Yavapai Materials Nature of Business The general nature of the Enterprise shall be to produce, process, store and sell sand, gravel, concrete and other aggregate products, consistent with accepted marketing practices; to further develop the resources within the lands set aside for this operation and to purchase or otherwise acquire all supplies, services, machinery and equipment needed in its operation. |
